Our Story

 Happenings in life never seem to occur without a sense of irony or timeliness and are

oftentimes cloaked in decisions we never knew we would be forced to make. After

having spent an ardent career in customer service, I was ultimately diagnosed with

Multiple Sclerosis (MS) at the age of thirty-seven years old. I wasn't letting the news of my

diagnosis to any longstanding footing in this world that I did have, was now being

forcibly ripped out from underneath me. For those who do not know, MS does not

readily lend itself to working a set-schedule. This, in turn, created a vicious cycle

wherein not working and helping to support my family, led to severe episodes of

depression. Even though life had thrown its best right-cross, knocking me to the ground,

I did not wait for a referee stoppage or a ten-count. Instead, I channeled my energy into

creating. Eventually as a direct result of my passion and newfound motivation, I had amassed quite the expanse line of products (well beyond what a typical family could ever use) and decided to turn my devotion into the family operated business: Essential Hopes. In short, not only

has this family run business renewed hope in my personal life, but it also gave me an

avenue to remedy my depression, establish a support system, showcase all-natural

products, and above all… the relationships I have established with our customers allows

me to do the same for them; give hope!
